Where to Find Cheap Halloween Baking Molds Now
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Alright, let’s talk about them Halloween bakin’ molds, ya hear? I ain’t no fancy baker, but I do like makin’ some treats for the young’uns come Halloween. And these molds, well, they make things a whole lot easier, and a whole lot spookier!

Where to Find Cheap Halloween Baking Molds Now

First off, you got all sorts of shapes and sizes. I seen ’em shaped like skulls, pumpkins, even bats! Some are big enough for a whole cake, others just right for little candies. My grandkids, they love the little ones, easy to grab and gobble down.

Now, you gotta think about what these molds are made of. Most of ’em I see are silicone. That stuff’s real bendy and the treats pop right out, no fuss. I had some old metal ones years ago, rusty things they were, and everything stuck! Silicone’s the way to go, trust me on that. And they say it’s safe for bakin’ and all, even for candy, which is good, ’cause I don’t want nobody gettin’ sick on my sweets.

You can find these molds just about anywhere these days. I seen ’em at the big stores, like that Target place, and even at the dollar store sometimes. But if you want somethin’ special, somethin’ real unique, you might have to look online. There’s folks sellin’ all kinds of handmade molds, shaped like all sorts of crazy things.

  • Big Molds for Cakes: If you’re makin’ a big ol’ Halloween cake, you’ll want a big mold. I seen some shaped like haunted houses, that’s pretty neat. There’s also those skull-shaped ones, those are always a hit.
  • Small Molds for Candies and Chocolates: These little molds are perfect for makin’ bite-sized treats. You can fill ’em with chocolate, candy melts, even Jell-O! My grandkids love the ones shaped like spiders and worms, little rascals.
  • Molds for other stuff: I even heard of folks usin’ these molds for things other than bakin’. Like, they make soap in ‘em, or even ice cubes shaped like eyeballs. Kids love that kind of stuff, keeps ’em entertained.

When you’re usin’ these molds, there’s a few things to keep in mind. First off, make sure you grease ’em up good, even if they say you don’t have to. Nothin’ worse than havin’ half your cake stuck in the pan. I usually just use some butter or that spray stuff, works like a charm. And don’t overfill ’em! I learned that the hard way, ended up with batter all over the oven, what a mess!

Cleanin’ these molds is easy enough. Most of the time, just a little soap and water does the trick. But if somethin’s really stuck on, you can soak ’em for a bit. Just don’t use nothin’ too scratchy, or you’ll ruin ’em. And make sure they’re good and dry before you put ’em away, or they’ll get all moldy, yuck!

I tell ya, these Halloween bakin’ molds are a lifesaver. They make it so easy to whip up some festive treats, and the kids just love ’em. Whether you’re makin’ a big cake or just a few little candies, these molds are sure to come in handy. So go on, get yourself a few, and have some fun this Halloween! And don’t forget to watch that Halloween Baking Championship show, they do some real fancy stuff with molds, gives ya ideas, ya know.

One last thing, I saw some bakin’ pans too, not just molds. Like them “Nordic Ware” ones, they look real sturdy. And some folks sellin’ used blow molds too, the big ones you put in your yard, if you’re lookin’ for them. But for bakin’ treats, the silicone molds is the way to go, in my opinion. They got all sorts, even ones that look like brains and hearts, kinda creepy, but the kids love it.

And remember, don’t go spendin’ a fortune on these things. You can find good ones for cheap, just gotta look around a bit. Happy bakin’!

Where to Buy Halloween Baking Molds? Like I said, you can find them at most stores around Halloween time. Target always has a good selection. But if you want something specific or unique, check online retailers like Amazon or Etsy. You can even find used molds at garage sales or online marketplaces if you’re looking to save a few bucks.

Types of Baking Molds: Besides silicone, you might find some made of plastic or metal. Metal ones can be tricky, as things tend to stick. Plastic ones are okay for candies and chocolates but might not hold up as well in the oven for cakes. Silicone is the best all-around choice, in my opinion, easy to use, easy to clean and safe. And they have all kinds of Halloween shapes! Skulls, pumpkins, bats, ghosts, spiders, you name it!
