Today, I stumbled upon a little puzzle called “Pie Preference” in the NYT Crossword. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” So, I started to figure out what this was all about.
First off, I needed to understand what kind of pie they were talking about. You know, there are so many types of pies, like apple, pumpkin, pecan, and so on. I realized I needed to find out the specific kind of pie that was the answer to this crossword clue.

I grabbed my phone and started searching. I read a few articles about pies. One said, “Pies are happiness,” which I totally agree with. I mean, who doesn’t love a good pie, right? I found out that there’s a whole bunch of different pies people like, but the one that fit the crossword clue was what I was after.
Then, I started filling in the letters in the crossword grid. I looked for clues that would give me hints about the letters in “Pie Preference.” It was like being a detective, trying to solve a mystery with each letter I filled in.
