Well, let me tell ya ’bout these here crackers, the kind they call “organic soda crackers.” I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I know what tastes good and what don’t. And these here crackers, they ain’t half bad.

First off, they call ’em “organic.” Now, I ain’t exactly sure what all that means, but I reckon it means they ain’t got no funny chemicals in ’em. Just good ol’ stuff, like flour and maybe a bit of salt. They say it’s made with wheat flour and sea salt, and no GMOs. Sounds fancy, but I guess that’s a good thing. My grandma used to make crackers from scratch, and they didn’t have no chemicals neither. So maybe “organic” is just a fancy way of sayin’ “like Grandma used to make.”
These soda crackers, they’re kinda square and crispy, baked till they’re golden brown. Some folks sprinkle ‘em with salt, which I like. Makes ‘em taste… well, more cracker-y. They ain’t like them sweet cookies the kids are always eatin’. These are plain, simple crackers, the kind you can eat with anything, or nothin’ at all.
- You can eat ’em with soup, that’s for sure. Nothin’ better than dunkin’ a cracker in a hot bowl of soup on a cold day.
- Or you can put some cheese on top. That’s always good. Or maybe some peanut butter, if you’re feelin’ fancy.
- And if you’re really hungry, you can just eat ‘em plain. They’re crunchy and satisfyin’ all on their own.
Now, they say these crackers are “low fat” and don’t have too many “calories.” I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that calorie stuff, but I do know that they don’t feel heavy in your stomach. You can eat a few of these crackers and not feel like you ate a whole loaf of bread. That’s good, ‘cause I don’t like feelin’ stuffed. My old man used to say, “Eat ‘til you’re comfortable, not ‘til you’re full.” And these crackers, they let you do just that.
They say these crackers get their name from “baking soda.” Now, that’s somethin’ I do know about. My mama used to use bakin’ soda in her biscuits. Made ’em rise up nice and fluffy. I guess it does the same thing for these crackers. Makes ’em light and crispy, not hard and tough like some crackers I’ve had. It’s quicker than yeast, they say. I ain’t got time for yeast, so that’s fine by me.
Some folks get these soda crackers mixed up with “saltines.” But they ain’t quite the same, ya know? Soda crackers are made different. They let the dough sit longer, they say. That’s what makes ‘em crispier, I reckon. And sometimes they have a touch of salt, but not always. Saltines are always salty, that’s why they call ‘em saltines, I guess. I like both, but these organic soda crackers, they’re somethin’ special.
You can find these crackers at the store, they say. Whole Foods Market, they call it. Sounds fancy, but I guess that’s where they sell all that organic stuff. They also come in a box. Says “Back to Nature” on it. And they ain’t cheap, let me tell ya. But sometimes you gotta pay a little extra for the good stuff. They also have Rovira Export Soda Crackers and Diamond Bakery ones. I don’t know ‘bout them, though, haven’t tried ‘em yet. Late July Snacks got some too, just classic ones. They all sound fine, I guess.
Anyways, these organic soda crackers are a good choice if you want a simple, tasty snack. They ain’t nothin’ fancy, just good ol’ crackers. You can eat ’em with soup, cheese, peanut butter, or just plain. And they won’t make you feel stuffed and bloated. So next time you’re at the store, pick up a box of these crackers. You won’t be disappointed.

They’re good for snackin’, good for dippin’, and good for just plain munchin’ on when you’re feelin’ peckish. And that’s all there is to it, really. Nothin’ more to say. They’re just good crackers, plain and simple. And that’s the truth.
