Well, lookie here, you wanna know ’bout this non-toxic bakin’ paper, huh? Alright, alright, I’ll tell ya what I know. See, some of that paper they sell, it ain’t good for ya. They put some kinda junk on it, somethin’ called… Quill-on? Sounds like a fancy pillow, don’t it? Anyway, they say it’s got heavy metals in it, like that chrome stuff they put on cars. Now, you don’t wanna be eatin’ that, do ya? Heck no! Makes me think of my old stove, all rusted up. You burn that paper, and poof! All that bad stuff goes flyin’ around, gets in your food, gets in your lungs. Not good, not good at all.
But then there’s this other paper, they say it’s got silicone on it. Silicone, now that’s somethin’ different. Comes from somethin’ natural, they tell me. Like dirt, I guess? Or maybe rocks? Don’t rightly know, but it sounds better than that chrome stuff. They say it’s more expensive to make, but heck, ain’t your health worth a few extra pennies? I reckon it is.
This bakin’ paper, it’s kinda thick, you know? Not like that thin stuff you write letters on. And it’s a funny color, like off-white. Like an old sheet that ain’t been washed proper. But it works, it works good! Keeps your cookies from stickin’ to the pan, keeps your cakes from burnin’ on the bottom. And that’s what matters, right?

Now, they got all sorts of fancy bakin’ pans too. Ceramic somethin’ or other. And this “Caraway” brand, sounds like a spice, don’t it? They say it’s non-toxic too. Well, that’s all well and good, but I reckon this paper’s just fine for me. I ain’t got money to be buyin’ all that fancy stuff. And this paper, you can just throw it away after you’re done. No mess, no fuss.
You can find this paper pretty much anywhere. Even on that “Amazon” thing my grandkids keep talkin’ about. Said you can get good deals on it. Free shippin’ too, sometimes. Ain’t that somethin’? Used to be, you had to go to the store to get anything. Now they just bring it right to your door. Times are changin’, I tell ya.
So, if you ask me, get yourself some of that non-toxic bakin’ paper. The kind with the silicone on it. Your food will taste better, and you won’t have to worry about breathin’ in all that nasty stuff. And ain’t that worth it? I reckon it is.
Now, go on and bake somethin’ good. Maybe some cookies? Or a pie? Just don’t burn it, mind ya. And remember what I told ya about that paper. It’s important, you know? Gotta take care of yourself, gotta eat good, gotta use the right stuff. That’s what I always say.
