Okay, so I saw this fun little prompt online, “If you were a dessert, what would you be?” And it got me thinking, why not actually try to figure this out? So I decided to make it into a little project.
The Brainstorm
First, I listed out a bunch of desserts. Like, everything I could think of. We’re talking:
- Chocolate Cake
- Apple Pie
- Ice Cream (all the flavors!)
- Cheesecake
- Tiramisu
- Fruit Tart
- …and a whole lot more
Then, I thought about my personality. Am I simple and classic? Am I fancy and complicated? Am I sweet, tart, rich, or something else entirely? This part took some real soul-searching, you know?
The Deep Dive
I started crossing things off the list. Ice cream? Too fleeting. Chocolate cake? Maybe a bit too basic. I wanted something that had layers, that was maybe a little unexpected.
I did some digging, reading about different desserts, their origins, how they’re made. It was actually super interesting! Did you know tiramisu means “pick me up” in Italian? Because of the coffee, I guess. Makes sense.
The “Aha!” Moment
And then it hit me. I’m totally a fruit tart. Why? Well, hear me out:
- The Crust: I’m pretty grounded, you know? Practical. Like a good, solid base.
- The Cream: I can be sweet, and I definitely try to be smooth. Maybe a little bit rich, in the “full of life” sense.
- The Fruit: This is where it gets interesting. I’m a mix of things! Sometimes I’m bright and energetic (like strawberries!), sometimes I’m a bit more mellow (like blueberries), and sometimes I can be a little tart (like raspberries!). It all depends on the day, I guess.
The Final Result
So, yeah, after all that thinking and “research,” I’ve decided: if I were a dessert, I’d be a fruit tart. It’s not too simple, not too complicated, and it’s got a little bit of everything. Plus, it’s just plain pretty, and I like to think I’m at least a little bit aesthetically pleasing. At least, that what I am aiming for.
