Okay, let’s get cooking! Here’s my blog post about making sausage and cream cheese biscuits:
Alright, folks, I’ve been wanting to try these sausage and cream cheese biscuits I saw floating around online. They looked super easy and, well, I love anything with sausage and cream cheese. So, today was the day!

Getting Started
First things first, I gathered my ingredients. I didn’t have some fancy, so I just used what I found in the fridge and pantry:
- One can of those refrigerated biscuit dough things – you know, the kind that pops open?
- A roll of breakfast sausage. I used the regular kind, nothing spicy.
- A block of cream cheese. I let mine sit out for a bit to soften up.
- I also grabbed some shredded cheddar cheese, because why not?
The Process
I started by browning the sausage in a pan. I crumbled it up real good while it cooked. Once it was cooked, drained any extra grease. Grease is not good for health!
Next, I took that softened cream cheese and mixed it in with the sausage. I just used a fork and mashed it all together until it was pretty well combined. Then, I stirred in the shredded cheddar. Seemed like a good idea at the time!
Now for the biscuits. I popped open that can (always scares me a little!) and separated the biscuits. Then, I kind of flattened each one out a bit with my fingers. Just made a little well in the center.
I spooned a good dollop of the sausage and cream cheese mixture into each biscuit. I didn’t want to overfill them, but I also wanted them to be nice and stuffed.
Then, I folded the edges of the biscuit dough up and over the filling, pinching them together to seal it all in. They looked like little, lumpy dumplings.
Baking Time!
I placed my biscuit creations on a baking sheet. Didn’t even grease it, to be honest. I popped them in the oven, which I had preheated to whatever the biscuit can said – I think it was 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, I set the time about 15 minutes.

I kept an eye on them, and after about 12-15 minutes, they looked golden brown and delicious. I pulled them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before I couldn’t resist any longer.
The Verdict
Oh. My. Goodness. These things were GOOD. The biscuit was flaky, the sausage was savory, and the cream cheese made it all so creamy and rich. The cheddar was a nice touch, too. I’m not gonna lie, I ate way more than I should have.
They were super easy to make, too. Even for someone like me, who’s not exactly a master chef. Definitely a win in my book! I’ll be making these again, for sure.
