Okay, so this morning I decided to try something super simple: an English muffin with honey. I’ve been seeing these aesthetic breakfast pics online, and I wanted in. Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed the essentials:

- English muffins (obviously)
- Honey (I used some local stuff I got at the farmer’s market)
- Butter (because, butter)
- A toaster
- A butter knife
The Toasting Process
I split the English muffin in half. This is key – you gotta get those nooks and crannies exposed. Then, I popped both halves into the toaster. I like mine a little on the darker side, so I set the toaster to, like, medium-high. Watch it though, because those things can burn fast!
Assembly Required
Once the muffin halves were nice and toasty, I took them out and placed them on a plate. I grabbed some butter and spread a thin layer on each half while they were still warm. You want that butter to melt all over it.
The Honey Drizzle
Now for the best part. I took my jar of honey and drizzled a generous amount over each muffin half. I’m not shy with the honey, okay? I made sure every little nook and cranny got some of that golden goodness.
Time for Eating
And that’s it! Super easy, right? I devoured both halves in, like, two minutes. It was the perfect mix of sweet and slightly savory, with that nice toasty crunch from the muffin. Definitely going to be making this again. Maybe I’ll add some fruit next time… or maybe more honey. We’ll see!
