Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “edible” slime recipes all over the internet, and I finally decided to give one a try. I went with a peanut butter version because, well, peanut butter is amazing. Here’s how it went down:
Gathering My Supplies
First, I grabbed all the stuff I needed. This was pretty simple:

- A jar of smooth peanut butter (I didn’t want any crunchy bits in my slime!)
- Some powdered sugar – the regular kind, nothing fancy.
- Marshmallows,I use regular size.
- A big bowl for mixing.
- And a spoon ,of course.
The Mixing Begins!
I started by scooping out a good amount of peanut butter into the bowl. I didn’t really measure, just eyeballed it – maybe like a cup or so? Then, I dumped in a handful of powdered sugar. I figured I could always add more later if needed.
Next, I threw in the * to mix!
I started stirring everything together, and at first, it was kind of a mess. The powdered sugar was flying everywhere, and the peanut butter was sticking to the spoon. But I kept at it, and slowly but surely, it started to come together.
Adjusting the Texture
As I mixed, I realized it was still a bit too sticky. So, I sprinkled in some more powdered sugar, little by little, until it reached a consistency I liked. It was kind of like playing with play-dough – you just keep kneading it until it feels right.
Taste Test and Playtime!
Once I was happy with the texture, I obviously had to taste it! It was pretty good – sweet and peanut buttery, just like you’d expect. And the best part? It was totally edible! I let my little cousins play with it, and they had a blast stretching it, squishing it, and of course, eating it.
Clean-up was easy, just warm water to wash, because there’s no borax or any of that stuff. Overall, this was a super fun and easy project. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a fun activity – especially if you have kids (or if you’re just a big kid at heart, like me!).
