Okay, so, I wanted to make some treats for Thanksgiving. I thought, why not make some cookies? But not just any cookies, Thanksgiving-themed cookies! So I started looking around for cookie cutters.
Looking for Cookie Cutters
First, I looked around the house to see if I had any suitable cookie cutters. I found some simple shapes like circles and squares, but nothing really Thanksgiving-related. So, I went to the local supermarket. They had some autumn-themed cutters, but nothing that really screamed “Thanksgiving.”

Searching Online
Next, I decided to check out online stores. I searched for “Thanksgiving cookie cutters,” and I found a bunch of different options. There were turkeys, pumpkins, maple leaves, acorns, and even candy corn shapes. I found one set that had all of those shapes. It was called a “6PCS Thanksgiving Cookie Cutters Set”. They were made of metal, which is good because they’re less likely to break than plastic ones.
Choosing the Right Set
There were so many to choose from! I saw another cute set of cookie cutters. It’s not for Thanksgiving, but they have many cute kitty cat cookie cutters. But I am not a big fan of cats. I wanted something simple and festive. Finally, I found a set that I liked. It had all the shapes I wanted, and it was a good price.
Ordering and Receiving
I ordered the set online, and it arrived in a few days. I was so excited to try them out! They were neatly packed, and each cutter was in perfect condition. I was so happy with them!
Baking Time!
I found a simple sugar cookie recipe online, and I gathered all the ingredients. I made the dough, rolled it out, and then it was time to use the cutters!
Cutting the Cookies
I used each of the cutters to make different shapes. The turkey and pumpkin shapes were my favorites. The cutters were easy to use, and they made clean cuts in the dough. They are so cute. Also, I found a turkey leg cookie cutter. It is funny, so I bought it too.
Baking and Decorating
After cutting out the cookies, I baked them in the oven. Once they were done and cooled, I decorated them with some icing and sprinkles. I made some orange pumpkins, brown turkeys, and yellow and red maple leaves.
The Final Result
The cookies turned out great! They looked amazing and tasted even better. My family loved them, and they were a big hit at our Thanksgiving gathering. Everyone was impressed with the different shapes, and they were all gone by the end of the day!

My Thoughts
I’m really glad I decided to get those cookie cutters. It was fun making these cookies, and it was a great way to get into the Thanksgiving spirit. I’ll definitely be using them again next year. Maybe I’ll even try making some other themed cookies for different holidays!
- It was a fun little project.

So, if you’re thinking of making some festive treats for Thanksgiving, I highly recommend getting some themed cookie cutters. It’s a simple way to make your cookies extra special, and it’s a lot of fun too! You can find some really cute and unique designs, especially if you look online. Happy baking!
