Okay, so I’ve been on this kick lately, trying to find more stuff that’s actually made in the good ol’ USA. It’s tougher than you’d think! Today, I decided to tackle something simple: cookie cutters. I figured, how hard could that be, right?
I started by just, you know, Googling around. “Cookie cutters made in America,” simple as that. I saw a bunch of results, but a lot of them were just, like, claiming to be made here. Or they were resellers, and I wasn’t 100% sure where the things were actually made.

The Hunt Begins!
So I refined my search a bit. I started looking for specific brands that were known for American manufacturing. One I found was Ann Clark. I also dug into some smaller, kind of “artisan” shops.
I ended up finding some nice ones on Etsy. It’s great because I found some unique, handcrafted tin and copper cutters that look really cool, not just your basic shapes.
Digging Deeper
The thing I realized is you gotta be careful. Even when something says “Made in USA,” you gotta check the fine print. Some companies assemble stuff here, but the materials are from somewhere else. That’s not exactly what I was going for. I wanted the whole shebang, start to finish, made here.
I spend a lot of time checking the products’ or manufactures’ website, especiall the “about us” pages.
The Results
After all that searching and digging, I ended up ordering a few sets. I got some basic shapes from Ann Clark, and then a couple of the more unique ones from that Etsy shop. I’m pretty stoked to try them out. I figure, even if it’s just cookie cutters, it’s kind of cool to know where they came from, and that I’m supporting, you know, American workers.
It definitely took more effort than I thought it would. It’s not as easy as just walking into a store and grabbing something off the shelf. But, honestly, that’s kind of what made it interesting. It felt like a little treasure hunt.

Next up, I think I’m gonna try to find some American-made baking sheets. Wish me luck!
