Okay, so I saw these super cute Among Us cookie cutters online the other day, and I just had to try making some cookies. I’m not the best baker, but these looked too fun to pass up!
Gathering My Supplies (and Courage!)
First things first, I needed the cookie cutters. Obviously. I found a set that had a few different crewmate shapes – you know, the regular one, the one with the little hat, and even one that looked like it was, um, “venting.” Heh.

Then, I needed a cookie recipe. I’m a simple person, so I went with a basic sugar cookie recipe. Nothing fancy, just flour, butter, sugar, eggs, the usual stuff. I also grabbed some food coloring, because what are Among Us cookies without the bright colors?
The Baking Begins (and the Messes Start)
I mixed up the dough, which was surprisingly therapeutic. Kneading dough is a great stress reliever, let me tell you. I divided the dough into a few different bowls and added the food coloring. I went with red, blue, yellow, and green – classic Among Us colors.
Then came the rolling and cutting. I rolled out the dough on a floured surface (and probably made a huge mess in the process, flour everywhere!), and started using the cookie cutters. They were a little tricky at first, especially the smaller details, but I got the hang of it eventually.
Baking and (Almost) Burning
I placed the cut-out cookies onto baking sheets and popped them in the oven. The recipe said to bake for about 8-10 minutes, but I’m notoriously bad at judging baking times. I think I left them in a little too long, because some of the edges got a bit… crispy. Oops! But hey, they still looked like crewmates, so I counted it as a win.
The Final (Colorful) Touch
After the cookies cooled, I got to the fun part: decorating! I used some black icing to outline the “visors” on the crewmates and to make them look more, well, Among Us-y. My hands were a little shaky, so some of the lines were a bit wobbly, but you get the idea.
My Crewmate Cookies!
Overall, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out! They’re not perfect, but they’re definitely recognizable as Among Us characters. And most importantly, they tasted pretty good, even the slightly burnt ones. Plus it was all a lot of fun.
I think it worth it, maybe I will try some other shape next time!
