How to Put a Pizza Box in the Oven? Read This First

Okay, so check this out. Yesterday, I was craving pizza, right? Ordered one, ate half, and then I was like, “Man, this leftover pizza would be bomb if it was a little crispier.” And that’s when the genius idea hit me.

My brain went, “Oven! Pizza box! Why not?”

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Dude, are you insane? You can’t put a pizza box in the oven!” But hear me out. I had a plan. A kinda dumb, maybe dangerous plan, but a plan nonetheless.

First thing I did was grab the pizza box. It was your standard cardboard kinda deal. Then, I ripped off the lid. No way was I putting the whole thing in there. Too much cardboard, too much potential for disaster.

Next, I preheated the oven to like, 350°F (about 175°C). I figured that was low enough to not immediately burst into flames, but high enough to get the pizza a little toasty. Risky, I know.

Then, I carefully slid the pizza (still on the bottom half of the box) into the oven. Made sure it wasn’t touching any of the heating elements. That’s a big no-no. I also grabbed a fire extinguisher, just in case things went south real quick. Safety first, even when you’re doing something incredibly stupid.

I set a timer for 5 minutes and watched the oven like a hawk. Honestly, those five minutes felt like an eternity. I kept thinking I was gonna see smoke billowing out any second.

When the timer dinged, I pulled the pizza out. The cardboard was a little browned, but not burned. The pizza itself? Perfectly crispy! Like it was fresh outta the pizzeria. I was kinda amazed, not gonna lie.

I ate that pizza so fast. It was glorious. Would I do it again? Maybe. Probably not, it was kinda dumb. There are definitely smarter ways to reheat pizza. But hey, sometimes you gotta live on the edge, right? Don’t try this at home, kids. Seriously.

Disclaimer

Seriously, don’t do this. I’m not responsible if you burn your house down. There are better ways to reheat pizza. This was just a stupid experiment that happened to work out (this time).
