Alright, let me tell you what I whipped up this morning. Just a simple english muffin with honey. Nothing fancy, but sometimes that’s just what hits the spot, you know?
So, I grabbed an english muffin from the bag. Store-bought, yeah, I didn’t bake these myself today. Too much effort for a quick breakfast. I took a fork, jammed it all around the sides, you know, the classic way? Then I pulled it apart. Gets you those nice rough edges, much better than cutting with a knife.

Popped those two halves into the toaster. I like mine pretty well toasted, maybe a medium-dark setting. Gotta have that crunch. While they were getting golden brown, I got the butter and honey out. Just regular butter, nothing special, and some local honey I picked up a while back.
Once the toaster popped, I grabbed the muffin halves. Careful, they were hot. Spread a bit of butter on each half first. Let it melt right in there, see those little pools forming in the nooks and crannies? Perfect.
Then came the honey. I didn’t measure, just drizzled it right over the buttered halves. Maybe a teaspoon or so on each side? Watched it soak in a bit. That combination of the warm, crunchy muffin, the melting butter, and the sweet honey… man.
And that was it, really. Sat down and ate it with my coffee. Super simple, took maybe five minutes total, but it was properly good. Just a good, solid start to the day. Sometimes you don’t need some complicated meal. Just toast, butter, honey. Done.
