Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “no-bake” cheesecake recipes floating around, and I finally decided to give one a shot. I went with a super simple one using a pre-made cheesecake mix – call me lazy, but hey, sometimes you just want a quick dessert, right?
Getting Started
First things first, I grabbed my ingredients. Here’s what I used:

- One box of cheesecake mix (I think it was Jell-O brand?).
- Some milk (the box said cold milk, so I made sure it was extra chilly).
- A pre-made graham cracker crust. Because, again, easy peasy.
- A little bit of butter, because that’s what the crust package suggested.
Mixing it Up
I melted the butter in the microwave – took like 30 seconds. Then, I dumped the graham cracker crumbs into a bowl, poured in the melted butter, and mixed it all up until it was kinda like wet sand. I pressed that mixture into the bottom of my pie pan, trying to make it as even as possible. Didn’t look perfect, but hey, it’s homemade, right?
Next up, the actual cheesecake filling. I emptied the mix packet into a big bowl, added the cold milk (I think it was 1 1/2 cups, but double-check your box!), and then I went to town with my electric mixer. I beat that stuff for a good few minutes, like the box said, until it started to look thick and fluffy. Kinda like whipped cream, but a little denser.
The Final Touches (and the Waiting Game)
Once the filling was all mixed, I spooned it into the crust, smoothing it out the best I could with a spatula. It looked pretty good, if I do say so myself! Then came the hardest part: waiting. The box said to refrigerate it for at least an hour, but I think I left it in there for like three, just to be safe. The longer the better. I’m patience practice!
Enjoy It
I added some strawberry on top of it and tasted. It’s really good! So delicious!
