So, I saw this thing online about making cupcakes in an air fryer, and I was like, “No way, that can’t actually work.” But my old oven is kinda janky, and I was really craving cupcakes, so I figured, what the heck, let’s give it a shot.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed my usual cupcake recipe – you know, the basic one with flour, sugar, eggs, butter, all that good stuff. I didn’t change anything about the recipe itself. The only difference was gonna be the baking part.
I mixed everything up in a big bowl, making sure it was nice and smooth. No lumps allowed! Then I got my cupcake liners and placed them in a small pan that fit in my air fryer.
Into the Air Fryer
I carefully filled each liner about two-thirds full – you don’t want them overflowing. My air fryer is kinda small, so I could only fit, four cupcakes at a time. No biggie, just means more batches of fresh cupcakes, right?
I popped the pan into the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 320°F (about 160°C). I’d seen some people online say 350°F, but I was a little scared of burning them, so I went lower.

I carefully took the pan out of the air fryer (it was HOT, obviously) and let the cupcakes cool down completely before I frosted them. The texture, was a bit springier, maybe even a little denser, than oven-baked ones. But they were definitely cooked through, and they tasted delicious!
