Okay, so the other day I was getting ready to bake some cookies, and I realized I was out of parchment paper. Usually, I just grab whatever’s at the store, but this time I thought, “Let’s see what’s actually good out there.” I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking at different types, and I ended up trying out this silicone baking paper roll. Here’s how it went:
Getting Started
First, I unrolled a bit of the silicone paper. It felt kinda weird – way smoother than regular parchment paper, almost like a thin, flexible mat. I measured out a piece big enough for my baking sheet and easily cut it with regular scissors. No struggling with tearing or weird jagged edges, which was a nice change.

Baking Time!
I placed the cut sheet onto my baking tray. It laid perfectly flat – no curling up at the edges like that annoying paper stuff sometimes does. Then, I arranged my cookie dough on top, leaving some space between each one, just like usual.
- One thing I immediately noticed was that the dough didn’t slide around at all. It stayed put, which was pretty cool.
- I popped the tray into the preheated oven and set my timer.
The Results
When the timer buzzed, I pulled the cookies out. They looked perfectly baked – evenly browned and not stuck to the sheet at all. Seriously, not even a little bit! I used a spatula to lift them off, and they slid right off the silicone paper with zero effort.
Usually, I’d have to scrub to clean my sheet, but this time I Just washed the baking sheet, and that was super easy – just a quick rinse with soapy water, and it was good as new. No soaking or scrubbing required!
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with this silicone baking paper roll. It’s definitely going to be my go-to from now on. Less mess, less waste, and my cookies turned out great. What’s not to love? I feel like a super-organized baker now!
