Okay, here is my sharing about using Pillsbury all purpose flour:
So the other day, I was feeling like baking something, I just felt that way. I decided to make some cookies because I saw a recipe online that caught my eye. The main ingredient, of course, was flour. I had a bag of Pillsbury all purpose flour in my pantry, so I figured I’d use that.

First, I grabbed all the other ingredients I needed – sugar, eggs, butter, you know, the usual stuff. I dumped the flour into a big bowl, and let me tell you, it was pretty fluffy. Then, I mixed in the sugar and the other dry ingredients, whisking them together until everything was combined.
Next, I creamed together the butter and eggs in a separate bowl. This part always takes a bit of elbow grease, but it’s important to get it nice and smooth. Once that was done, I gradually added the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing everything together until a dough formed. It was a bit sticky, but that’s okay.
I then rolled out the dough on a lightly floured surface, just using a bit of that Pillsbury flour to prevent sticking. Cut out some fun shapes using cookie cutters, because that made me feel better. My kid is grown up, so I did it for fun only.
- Preheated the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Placed the cookies on a baking sheet.
- Baked for about 10-12 minutes.
Finally, I took the cookies out of the oven and let them cool on a wire rack. They smelled amazing! And let me tell you, they tasted even better. The Pillsbury all purpose flour worked like a charm. The cookies were soft, chewy, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, a success I would say! My neighbors love them!
From now on, I’ll keep sharing my cooking and baking stuff! Stay tuned.
