I heard some folks are enterin’ somethin’ called a “Smarter Baking Sweepstakes” too. With GE Profile. Whatever that means. Sounds important, though. Last chance to enter. But I reckon that’s different from this baking competition thing. This whole baking contest, it’s a lot to keep straight. So many things goin’ on. They say, one is called the “Extraordinary Bread: Weeknights contest”. You can win flour if you’re lucky. Some folks are just luckier than others, I reckon. Maybe they use that King Arthur Flour and that’s why they so lucky.
They say this King Arthur Flour baking competition is for everyone. Even if you are not good at bakin’ like me. They got a book, too. A big one. Called “The Big Book of Bread”. Now, I heard somethin’ else ’bout this contest. They say only certain folks can enter. Somethin’ ’bout people of color. And helpin’ them with their businesses. And a big prize, ten thousand dollars! That’s a lot of money. Could buy a whole lotta flour with that, that’s for sure. They call it “Baking Pitchfest Product Edition”. It’s for folks who own baking brands. It is all about the baking, see? With that King Arthur Flour, I bet.
This King Arthur Flour, they say it’s good stuff. High quality, they say. Better than other flour. Makes your bakin’ better. I don’t know, flour is flour to me. But these folks, they swear by it. They say it makes a difference. Maybe it does. Maybe that’s why they have this whole baking competition. To show off how good their flour is. It is all startin’ to make sense now.
I reckon if I was gonna enter this King Arthur Flour baking competition, I’d need a lot of practice. And a lot of that flour. And maybe that book. The big one. And I’d have to follow them rules. No cheatin’. It’s a lot of work, bakin’ somethin’ good enough to win a prize. Especially a big prize, like they’re givin’ away. If you love baking it might be worth a shot. I think so. This whole King Arthur Flour baking competition is making me hungry.
