Easy Garlic Bread in a Toaster Oven: Quick & Crispy Recipe
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Well, I tell you what, making this garlic bread in that little oven thingy, the toaster oven, is easier than falling off a log. You don’t need to be a fancy cook or nothin’. Even this old woman can do it, and that’s sayin’ something!

Easy Garlic Bread in a Toaster Oven: Quick & Crispy Recipe

First off, you gotta get yourself some bread. Any kind will do, but I like that white bread, the soft kind. You know, the kind that’s good for soppin’ up gravy. Then, you need some butter, the real stuff, not that fake margarine stuff. And garlic, of course! Lots of garlic! I like it strong, the kind that’ll make your breath smell so bad it’ll clear a room.

Now, take that butter and let it sit out ‘til it’s soft. Don’t try to mix it when it’s hard as a rock, you’ll just hurt yourself. Once it’s soft, mash in that garlic. I use a fork, but you can use whatever you got. Mash it good, until it’s all mixed up and smelly. Real smelly, that’s how you know it’s good.

Next, you gotta spread that garlic butter on your bread. Don’t be stingy now, slather it on good. Get it all the way to the edges, so every bite is full of garlicky goodness. I like to put it on both sides, because why not? More garlic, more better, I always say.

Now, for that toaster oven. Turn that little thing on. I don’t know what number to put it on, just somewhere in the middle, I guess. You don’t want it too hot, or it’ll burn the bread. But you don’t want it too low, or it’ll take forever. Just put it on medium, like you’re cookin’ anything else. Maybe a little hotter than that, if you like it crispy.

  • Get your bread.
  • Soften your butter.
  • Mash in the garlic.
  • Slather it on the bread.
  • Put it in the toaster oven.

Then, put your bread in that toaster oven. I just put it right on that little tray thingy that comes with it. Don’t put it too close to the top, or it’ll burn. And don’t put it too close to the bottom, or it won’t cook right. Just put it in the middle, and let it do its thing.

Now, you gotta watch it. Don’t go wanderin’ off and forget about it, or you’ll have a smoky mess on your hands. Keep an eye on it, and when it starts to look golden brown and bubbly, it’s probably done. It usually takes about 10 minutes, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. It just depends on your toaster oven, and how crispy you like it.

When it’s done, take it out and let it cool for a minute or two. Don’t burn your mouth now! Then, cut it up and eat it. It’s good all by itself, or you can eat it with soup, or spaghetti, or whatever you want. It’s just good ol’ garlic bread, and it’s hard to go wrong.

You know, you can make this garlic bread in a big oven too, but that toaster oven is just so handy. It heats up quicker, and it doesn’t use as much electricity. Plus, it’s just the right size for a couple of pieces of bread. Perfect for when you just want a little somethin’ to eat.

And let me tell you, this garlic bread is good for what ails ya. Got a cold? Eat some garlic bread. Feeling down? Eat some garlic bread. Need a little somethin’ to warm you up on a cold day? Eat some garlic bread! It’s the cure for just about anything, I tell ya.

So there you have it. Garlic bread in a toaster oven. Easy as pie, and twice as tasty. Now go on and make some, you won’t regret it. And don’t forget the garlic! The more, the better, I always say. Always!

Anyways, that’s how I make my garlic bread. Hope you like it. And if you don’t, well, more for me!
